    Food Plant an Herb Garden
Consider the ways you can garden: a plot of land? a patio container? hanging basket? windowsill gardens? What would work best for your living situation and lifestyle?

Creativity is key in replacing wants vs needs. Taking a walk vs shopping on line, cooking a new recipe vs ordering fast food....

I have become aware how many of my purchases are for things that I use to fill a whole left by losing so many members of my family in a relatively short period of time. Now that I have some awareness, I am able to take a deep breath before a purchase and look at the way a needless purchase can not only affect me, but the society as well.

Nature Go for a Daily Walk
How do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?

While walking I find myself in a space of appreciating more gratitude. The flowers, the sunshine, each step is there just for me to enjoy and they all support me in taking a break :) It's easier to return to a stint of work after a walking break to enjoy the environment I grow to love more through spending time outside.

    Nature Practice Gratitude for Earth
Kathleen Dean Moore says that a sense of gratitude leads to a sense of moral obligation. Do you agree? How do we cultivate a sense of gratitude as individuals, and as a society?

Gratitude doesn't necessarily lead to moral obligation. Morality is subjective.
