  • Reflection Question
    Food Reduce Animal Products
What do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than in other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How do we start shifting a meat-focused food culture?

Unfortunately, healthy foods are expensive. The sooner we can make the healthy (or sustainable) choice the easy choice, the sooner we will get people making the transition to more plant based foods.

Hi All. Tonight I watched the documentary "Seaspiracy" on Netflix and it opened my eyes to the impacts of commercial fishing. Check it out.

How does food sovereignty address the complex agrarian transition to modern food systems?

I watched the documentary "Seaspiracy" on Netflix. It was shocking and disturbing to learn how the commercial fishing industry is  catastrophically destructing the oceans and marine life. I had no idea that there is no such thing as sustainable fishing. I will definitely be rethinking my protein choices.

Practicing gratitude helps to acknowledge the goodness in ones life and connect to something larger than ourselves.

My friends and I plan COVID friendly weekend hiking adventures. Our hikes give us the opportunity to connect and socialize while practicing healthy behaviors. This helps our physical and mention health, especially during COVID. Our go to hiking spot is Rancho San Antonio in Cupertino. Let me where your favorite hiking spot is. I would love to check it out!
