    Final day of the challenge, but I will be maintaining the daily actions. I'm glad I participated. It's made an impactful difference in what I do now.

    Today, I went for a 2 mile walk with a friend. We tried a new path and Vitality Bowl after the walk. It was nice to be out of the house, enjoying the nice weather. 

    I also have been using my iWatch's Breathe app to take 1 minute breathing breaks at least two times a day.

    Today, the entire family ate without any electronics on or at the table! We also slowed down and shared jokes and riddles and facts... 

    Daughter: Daddy, want to hear a seal fact? 
    Hubs: Sure
    Daughter: Seals eat penguins. 
    Everyone: (dead silence)
    Hubs: Oh, interesting fact.

    I propose that when we all return to work, on Spare the Air day, we should work from home and not drive that day at all or drive as little as possible.

    Mindful eating this weekend - take time to eat without any electronic or digital distractions. Also, found time time to meditate more than 5 minutes and took 1 minute breathing breaks.

    I've been slowing down during meal times, putting the electronics to one side, not thinking about work, and focusing on eating and chewing. I usually rush through meals or not eat a full meal during the work week. This EcoChallenge has reminded me to "slow my roll". :)

    4 more days to this EcoChallenge, and I see the positive results already. This challenge has reminded me to slow down and be more mindful, to turn off electronics

    Today, during lunch, I ate outside in the front patio - great weather, fresh air, no computer or electronics as a distraction.

    This morning, in between meetings, I went outside for 5 minutes to soak in the sun and fresh air. It gave me a chance to step away from the computer, even for 5 minutes.

    The weather is beautiful today. I opened up the windows to let in the cool air. The heater/AC have been off since this challenge.
