Reflection QuestionFood Reduce Animal ProductsWhat do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than in other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How do we start shifting a meat-focused food culture?
Suzan Ton 4/30/2021 4:41 PMI'm pretty sure lobbying has a lot to do with us eating a lot of chicken and beef, especially the type of beef we're consuming. Travelling to other parts of the world, I've noticed that the meat there tastes so much better, especially if it's not locked to a few power players of the meat market. Even the vegetables are more naturally grown and taste sweeter. I'm sure the fast food market also does its part in driving the demand for meat. -
Suzan Ton 4/30/2021 4:38 PMDay 19 of 22...will these four things become a habit once this challenge ends? Or will the call of meat be too strong to resist??? Hmmm, Korean Bulgogi...-
Victoria Tran 5/01/2021 5:50 PMHave you tried Vitality Bowls? I got hooked on acai bowls when I was in Hawaii. Super food that is refreshing and tasty.

Reflection QuestionEnergy Power Down the ComputerWhat are other easy things you could do to save energy and reduce your environmental footprint?
Suzan Ton 4/21/2021 8:40 AMI'm not sure if it's an easy thing, but I am looking into buying a hydrogen cell car. Hyundai Nexo, I'm eyeing you...
For easier things, use less plastic, buy more pre-owned items, donate instead of discard, work in the dark more :D-
Suzan Ton 5/03/2021 8:15 AMBut they might come with photocards!! If the car came with Suga, Tae, or Kookie, I think it would become a bloodbath among the fans lol -
Victoria Tran 4/27/2021 10:26 PMHyundai, eh? Those don't come with Suga, Tae or Kookie.

Reflection QuestionEnergy Adjust the ThermostatYour utility company is able to tell you your average energy usage. Ask them how your energy usage compares to others in your zipcode, and in your state. What other steps can you take each day to reduce your electricity usage?
Suzan Ton 4/21/2021 8:37 AMI'm tempted to act like a caveperson and just unplug everything. I already have plugs in power strips that I turn off, but sometimes the pain of having your TV and PlayStation having to reboot every time may have discouraged me from flipping the switch. I should definitely use the sleep timer on the TV and Spotify. -
Reflection QuestionTransportation Drive LessHow has your access to various kinds of transportation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?
Suzan Ton 4/21/2021 8:34 AMI think it's a bit hard to make public transportation a part of your life if the infrastructure isn't there, or it's too difficult to navigate. I think the public transportation in New York, South Korea, and especially Japan are the best. It was a breeze, took me everywhere, and wasn't complicated to figure out. If it was that easy to take it, I think everyone would readily use it.-
