It was windy today, yet the walk was enjoyable with full sun.

What is one food choice that you make, or could make, that would do more good and less harm?

Reduce red meat down to once a quarter and eventually completely out of the diet.

Reducing your paper mail can be such a freeing action to take -- by reducing what is coming in, you can reduce what is going into the recycling bin too. How does it make you feel? What is the next step you will take to reduce your waste?

Feels great.  Move to rechargable batteries, take our own reusable grocery bags for shopping, buy used clothes more often and help keep the community clean via cleaning drives.

I usually find a quite spot in the park during my walk and sit down to feel the breeze and observe nature.

    Health More Fruits and Veggies
What do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How can we start shifting from a meat-focused food culture to a more plant-based one?

Tradition and culture has a lot to do with eating meat, including a symbolism of macho.  Surprisingly, not many people realize that the strongest of animals in the animal kingdom are plant eaters - Gorillas and Elephants.  I believe giving people clarity on options of plat based diets might help them understand the benefits and make the shift.  I think the book "Switch", which talks about changing behavior, gives a great example.  Moving folks from full fat to a reduced fat milk is the change in buying behavior not taste.  Once the milk make it to the fridge, they will drink it regardless if it was full fat or skim milk :)
